Remember those ghost stories we all tell each other, of what we've seen, felt and didn't expect? At one point or another we have all asked, or have been asked "have you ever seen anything?" I've always been that person that always has a story to tell in these moments - because I have my own genuine experiences to share. From the apparition in my old flat, the older gent in our Air BnB games room in the south of France, to the family that walks the upstairs of the building I worked in who liked to pace the hallway and relax in the mostly unused back room, I thought this sort of thing happened to everyone.

During the COVID-19 pandemic where things really picked up for me. I had been made redundant from my position in Carnaby Street and so found myself back at my mums and working in a local care home. Here, I experienced the end of human life for many people who I felt were somewhat friends, whom I cared for. I'd sit with them, and join them in their incredible experience of end of life phenomena in the days and hours leading up to their moment - relatives coming through for support, offering love and kindness. I believed my compassion for these people meant my imagination was able to create this imagery before us. I've since learnt that this was a natural mediumistic skill, and I feel blessed to have been a part of their journey into spirit. From this moment everything became much more busy!

I moved into my next adventure into a shop in a grade2 listed building on Seven Dials - where the basement of the building was the home to a strong, Irish lady, who did not like it when you came down without asking permission! I worked mostly very late into the night and even though I appeared to be here alone, I never truly was. I think of this experience as a blessing; a unique opportunity to connect so privately with a strong presence, understanding her personality and preferences (even rules!). Often using her stick to jab you when you hadn't acknowledged her, I learnt quickly to listen!

I’m still developing my mediumship, but aren’t we all? This journey of life is indefinite and so is our learning! I’ve been reading tarot for fun for many years, but to incorporate mediumship to extend the sight the cards offer is so much more interesting! 

Flash forward many years and so much more experience, I finally gave in to all that was pushing me down this path. I found the Spiritualist National Union (SNU), my new friends there invited me to their Development Circle, where I learnt how to be me. With their help, I came to understand that our human experience is here to test us. We walk this earth as a place of learning, like school, for our soul development and the what we experience our soul is here to learn from. In this I found peace, and through peace, I found connection to not only those who walk our world, but those who no longer do. The Earth Alumni, if you will. 

I’m constantly testing my skills, learning new things and incorporating this into my daily practice. I’ve taken on quite a lot of professional training too, which I thoroughly enjoy and find eye opening (although demanding) every time!

I’ve recently found The Sanctuary in Peterborough, which is where I’m sat as I write this little bio. To be honest I’ve been working on this so long I’ve had two coffees, soup, lunch and mooched around the crystal shop. I’ve not been able to leave for the wonderful community of spiritual people I’ve accidentally stumbled upon, so in my spare time, when I have a moment or two alone maybe you’ll find me here from now on!
